Itinerary
Bangkok’s Buddhist temples are world famous, and this tour takes you to three of the city’s most remarkable and historic sites.
We begin with a visit to Wat Traimit, located at the end of the bustling Yaowarat Road in Chinatown and near Hua Lamphong Railway Station. The temple is home to the impressive Golden Buddha, a remarkable statue weighing approximately five and a half tons.
Next, we visit Wat Pho, Bangkok’s largest temple complex, famous for its magnificent 46-meter-long reclining Buddha and beautifully decorated chedis.
No visit to Bangkok would be complete without exploring the magnificent Grand Palace, one of the finest examples of traditional Siamese architecture and the former residence of Thailand’s royalty. The complex includes several important buildings and ceremonial venues, including the Funeral Palace, Reception Palace, Throne Hall, Coronation Hall, Royal Guest House, and the renowned Temple of the Emerald Buddha.
Thailand’s floating markets are an important part of the country’s cultural heritage and offer visitors a unique glimpse into traditional Thai life.
Located approximately 110 km west of Bangkok, Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is one of Thailand’s most famous floating markets. Visiting this colorful market feels like stepping back into the days of the ancient Siam Kingdom, as merchants in traditional clothing paddle along the narrow canals, selling fresh fruits, vegetables, and other local products directly from their boats.
During the visit, you will also see traditional Thai houses and learn about the important role boats have played—and continue to play—in the daily lives of local communities.
The tour also includes a visit to the fascinating Maeklong Railway Market, where vendors set up their stalls directly alongside the railway tracks. When a train approaches, the vendors quickly move their awnings and merchandise to make way for the passing train, then return to business once it has gone.
