These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern and apply to anyone accessing or using Tours for the World, TFTW Online Services, and TFTW FunPay websites, mobile sites, products, and services  (collectively, the “Services”). 

 

The services are operated by ToursfortheWorld.com (“TFTW”) While using the services, please be aware that your access to and use of the services and any information or documents offered by TFTW are subject to these Terms and Conditions. If you choose to continue to use or access the Services after having the opportunity to read these Terms and Conditions, you are indicating your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions and TFTW’s Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions or TFTW’s Privacy Policy, please do not use our services.

TFTW reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice, and such changes shall be deemed effective immediately upon posting of the modified Terms and Conditions. You should regularly review these Terms and Conditions to ensure that you are aware of, understand, and accept any changes made. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of changes to these Terms and Conditions will indicate your acceptance of those changes.

 

THE SERVICES ARE NOT INTENDED FOR USE OR ACCESS BY ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18. IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 18, YOU MAY NOT USE OR ACCESS THE WEBSITE OR PROVIDE US WITH ANY PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION. You may not use the Services and may not accept these Terms and Conditions if (1) you are not of legal age to form a binding contract with TFTW, or (2) you are a person barred from receiving the Services under the laws of the jurisdiction in which you are resident or from which you use the Services.

The Services, Offers, and Materials may not be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed without the prior written permission of TFTW. “Deep-linking,” “embedding” or using analogous technology is strictly prohibited. You are prohibited from posting to or transmitting from the Services any unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, indecent, inflammatory, pornographic or profane material or any material that could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law.

While we will use our best efforts to fulfill all orders, TFTW cannot guarantee the availability of any particular hotel, resort, tour, amenities, or package displayed through the Services. TFTW reserves the right to discontinue the sale of any tour package, tour, hotel, resort, or amenities listed through the Services at any time without notice. We reserve the right to limit or restrict sales as needed.  Prices and availability of hotels, resorts, tours, amenities, or packages are subject to change without notice. The prices displayed on our website may differ from the prices quoted, displayed on materials, or found on other collateral.

We attempt to ensure that information provided through the Services is complete, accurate and current. Except as prohibited by applicable New Jersey law, we make no representation as to the completeness, accuracy or currency of any information provided through the Services and in the Materials. TFTW shall not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the Materials.

A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm a reservation. Once received deposits are not refundable. The deposit amount will be determined at the time a package is quoted. For all bookings final payment in the form of a check, wire transfer, or credit card (Visa® or  MasterCard®) must be received on the date shown on the package quote. Please contact your Travel Agent or TFTW representative for complete details. Failure to strictly comply with the deposit and final payment schedules, or any other applicable policies and procedures, will result in the automatic cancellation of pending reservations.

Cancellations must be made in writing and received by either fax, mail, or email. Refunds are not offered for canceled trips. If a trip is canceled 60 days prior to the date of departure –  travel credit will be provided to the individual traveler.  No refunds will be made in the event of interruption or cancellation by the Guest after the vacation commencement date. Certain Travel Agents may withhold an agency cancellation fee.TFTW reserves the right to restrict any changes to a reservation. All changes are subject to availability. Please note that changes made to overall party size, date, or location may result in a change to the rate. For your peace of mind, we recommend the purchase of travel insurance, we have partnered with Travel Guard to offer travel insurance protection. Travel Guard insurance policies are underwritten by AIG. If a reservation is canceled by TFTW prior to commencement of the trip, TFTW shall have no responsibility beyond the issuance of credit for the monies paid related to the trip that was canceled by TFTW without offset for cancellation fees imposed by TFTW or third party vendors.

Complaints will be handled on a case-by-case basis by our management. Applications for travel credit must be made in writing at least 60 days prior to the date the tour begins. We will not refund any money. We will not provide travel credit due to passengers arriving late for check-in. Passengers should plan to check in 3 hours prior to international flight times and 2 hours prior to regional flight times. We will not offer travel credit for dissatisfaction with the conditions of a property, its rooms, facilities, or services. We will not refund monies for train tickets that have been lost, stolen, or left at home. Clients must have physical tickets in their possessions to board trains in Asia & Europe. Rent-a-cars have a minimum stay requirement of 3 days. They may use less than the 3 days but we cannot refund the difference upon return from their trip.

TFTW or its partners may in their sole discretion and without prior notice changes substitute, postpone, cancel or deviate from any scheduled tour, itinerary, hotel, or destination, and may replace the lost item with a substitute, and shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by a Traveler as a result of any such change, substitution, postponement, cancellation or deviation. The Traveler shall pay any and all expenses incurred if a Traveler is detained during any stage of the trip because of quarantine, local regulations, prevailing applicable law, illness, or other cause such as detection of COVID-19.

No animals are allowed on TFTW trips except for service animals. TFTW must be notified before booking if a service animal is to be brought on the trip. Many destinations have strict entry requirements for animals, and you must ensure that your service animal complies with all requirements of each destination. TFTW or our local partners is not responsible for your inability to visit a destination, tour, resort, hotel, theme park, or any other activity or service due to your failure to comply with any such entry requirements.

TFTW or our partners may refuse passage or transport or may terminate a tour at any point if a traveler may begin suffering from a contagious or infectious disease (including but not limited to COVID-19), ill-health or whose presence in the opinion of the local partners of Public Health Authorities may be detrimental to the comfort or safety of other travelers or the staff, or who, in the opinion of our local partners of Public Health Authorities, might be excluded from landing at destination by Immigration or other governmental authorities. In such cases, the Guest shall not be entitled to any refund of fare or compensation whatsoever. TFTW and our partners reserve the right to refuse passage to travelers with criminal backgrounds. Women who have entered their 24th week of pregnancy as of their tour start date or who will enter their 24th week of pregnancy during the trip may be refused passage due to safety concerns. Neither a physician’s medical statement nor a waiver of liability will be accepted. In addition, TFTW cannot be held responsible or liable for any complications relating to pregnancy at any stage. The minimum age to travel with TFTW is 6 months of age on most itineraries, and the minimum age for certain tours, excursions, tours, theme parks, hotels, or any other activity or service may have their own age or fitness requirements. Select tours, excursions, tours, theme parks, hotels, or any other activity or service that may have fitness requirements (including weight, height, and age requirements) TFTW is not responsible for any policies for such policies.

Names on reservations must match the information included on the Traveler’s passport/government-issued ID. The Traveler is responsible for providing us with your legal First and Last name as they are shown on your passport. Once your trip is processed, name changes are NOT allowed. Vacation packages are not transferable. Airlines and other providers do not allow name changes on their tickets. You cannot change the name on an airline/train/hydrofoil/cruise/mini-package ticket or give the ticket to someone else to use. In the event you provide us with the wrong name(s) for your reservation, then you understand they are canceled.

Involuntary changes or cancellations to flight numbers, flight times or flight dates are called “schedule changes”. These are changes created by the airlines due to the re-organization of their flight itineraries and/or change of equipment. Toursfortheworld.com is not responsible for airline schedule changes. The airline has the right to adjust/change and cancel flights up to the day of departure.

 

Please be advised to reconfirm your flights 48-72 hours prior to departure, you must contact the airlines directly to verify current flight info.

 

We are not responsible for any misconnections that the airlines might cause. We are not liable for canceled flights, flights that are missed or flights with misconnection due to any airline scheduled changes. We are not able to compensate for hotel overnights if such may occur due to an airline schedule change. Toursfortheworld.com may assist in informing you of schedule changes, but it is ultimately your responsibility to coordinate with the airline directly regarding any changes that might affect your travel. In a gesture of goodwill and in lieu of your satisfaction, Toursfortheworld.com will act as an agent between you and the airline in order to assist you in fixing some schedule changes. If the airline is providing a full refund due to a major schedule change; you will be responsible for the purchase of the new ticket with another carrier. Money transfer from one airline to another is not allowed. Airline refunds may take between 6 and 8 weeks.

TFTW believes that all people regardless of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, age, or disability have the right to travel. However, not all countries, destinations, tours, partners, and other activities or services share this view. TFTW is not responsible for the treatment of travelers when traveling as part of our tour packages. Local laws may limit or restrict certain travelers based on the classes described above. It is the traveler’s responsibility to understand the laws, customs, and culture of the destination of travel prior to booking. 

Changes to a reservation may result in a per Guest service fee. Please consult your Travel Agent or TFTW  for further details. Cancellations or changes to the itinerary, or ground transfers by the traveler will not result in a refund or credit.

Fares shown on the Services included all stated tours, hotel/resort stays, transfers meals, and other stated inclusions. 

The rate quoted and shown on the Services does not include nonstated meals, beverages, transfer, tours, or any other item of a personal nature. The fare does not include airfare, ground or baggage transfers (domestic), fuel supplements, added tours/excursions, sightseeing or meals not stated, gratuities, alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, bottled water, laundry, or valet services, or any other items not specifically included. The fare also does not include Taxes, Fees, and Port/ Airport Expenses. 

By joining a TFTW tour, Travelers represent themselves as physically and otherwise fit to travel. If you have a medical condition that requires you to take prescription medication or may require you to obtain medical care during the course of your trip, please consult with your personal physician prior to traveling. TFTW  is not liable for any death, personal injury, illness or emotional distress caused by reason of any treatment, diagnosis, advice, examination, prescription or other service provided by medical personnel or by the failure of such medical personnel to provide any treatment, diagnosis, advice, examination, prescription or another service. Our local partners have the right at any time to require or deny any Traveler access to tours or shared transports for medical reasons, including but not limited to a suspected COVID-19 (defined below) infection by you or any other travelers who are part of the tour. 

You agree, understand, and acknowledge, that an inherent risk of exposure to the disease COVID-19 (as defined by the World Health Organization and any strains, variants, or mutations thereof) and SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that can cause COVID-19) (collectively, “COVID-19”), and any other communicable or infectious disease, exists in any public place where people are present, including a cruise ship. “Communicable disease” means any disease or illness caused by microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, parasites, or fungi that can be spread, directly or indirectly, from one person to another. “Infectious disease” means any disease or illness caused by microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, parasites, or fungi that enter the body, multiply, and can cause an infection. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious communicable disease that can lead to severe illness and death. No precautions can eliminate the risk of exposure to COVID-19, and the risk of exposure applies to everyone. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”), older adults (people 65 years and older) and people of any age who have underlying medical conditions are at higher risk for severe illness and death from COVID-19. Relevant public health authorities, including but not limited to the CDC, are referred to herein as “Public Health Authorities.” You acknowledge that the risk of exposure to COVID-19 and any other communicable or infectious disease includes the risk that you will expose others that you encounter, even if you are not experiencing or displaying any symptoms of illness.

 

You acknowledge and agree to voluntarily assume any and all risks in any way related to exposure to COVID-19 and any other communicable or infectious disease, including illness, injury, or death of yourself or others. You acknowledge that your participation in a trip is entirely voluntary. By participating in a trip you attest you are knowledgeable about your individual risk of developing severe illness if you are infected with COVID-19; you have made an informed decision about traveling based on your individual risk; and you have decided whether to consult with a health care provider based on your individual risk.

 

You further acknowledge and agree to abide by and consent to all COVID-19 rules, regulations, mandates and safety protocols issued by TFTW  and/or Public Health Authorities including but not limited to: (a) Submission to mandatory COVID-19 testing at such times and frequency as required by Public Health Authorities, which may include testing before and after your trip; (b) submission to enhanced health screening for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 or known exposure to COVID-19; (c) denial of services due to signs and symptoms of a possible COVID-19 infection or known exposure to COVID-19 as determined by Public Health Authorities or our Local Partners at there sole discretion, in accordance with technical instructions or orders by Public Health Authorities; (d) participation in contact tracing and data collection for COVID-19 surveillance; (e) mandatory isolation and/or quarantine at the sole discretion of the Public Health Authorities; (f) mandatory termination of tour and evacuation due to a suspected COVID-19 infection by you or someone else who is part of your tour (Evacuation or termination of tour may occur in any location throughout your tour); (g) post-travel quarantine instructions; (h) mandatory temperature checks; (i) mandatory use of face coverings/face masks in accordance with guidelines by Public Health Authorities and (j) following distancing requirements as defined by Public Health Authorities.

 

You further acknowledge that the COVID-19 rules, regulations, mandates, and safety protocols issued by Public Health Authorities and/or other governing bodies are subject to change. TFTW  reserves the right to change any health and safety protocols, including, but not limited to, requirements on vaccinations, masks, and physical distancing related to COVID-19 at its sole discretion, without notice, both prior to and during your tour. It is your sole responsibility to confirm any changes to any health and safety protocols that may be applicable and ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols in effect at the time of travel and in the country of travel.

 

You further acknowledge and agree to review any CDC travel advisory, warning, or recommendation relating to travel prior to making your reservation (available at https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/notices).

We invite you to visit your local Travel Agent to book your TFTW trip. Travel agencies are not owned or operated by TFTW  and act on the traveler’s behalf in arranging trips.

TFTW  reserves the right to change all prices and other terms and conditions which appear in this website/brochure without prior notice. Price changes will not affect bookings with timely final payment, except where the increase results from increases in Taxes, Fees or other Expenses, as applicable.

Single-occupancy rates are always higher than a single traveler rate. All rates displayed on the Services are shown based on double. The Single occupancy rate may also be shown and must be added to the double occupancy rate as needed. 

TFTW arranges fully escorted vacation packages. These packages are offered for sale to the traveling public through Travel Agents only. All arrangements made for or by travelers for: (a) air or ground transportation or travel; (b) shore excursions; (c) tours; (d) theme parks; (e) hotels; (f) restaurants; or (g) other similar activities or services, are made solely for the traveler’s convenience and are at the traveler’s risk. The providers of such activities and services are independent contractors and are not acting as agents or representatives of TFTW. The identity of the providers of such activities and services is available upon request. TFTW shall not be liable or responsible in any way for any death, personal injury, illness or emotional distress occasioned by any Traveler, or for loss of or damage to any Traveler’s property, which arises by reason of any act or omission by providers of air or ground transportation, excursions, tours, restaurants, hotels, theme parks or other similar services or activities. The liability of the provider of such accommodations, services, and activities may be governed by and determined in accordance with limitations contained in applicable tariffs, laws, conventions, or contracts governing a Traveler’s relationship with such provider.

All Travelers (U.S. citizens, residents, and Non-U.S. citizens) must have valid government-issued citizenship documentation in order to travel which may include a valid original Permanent Resident Card ( also known as Alien Registration Card – ARC), passports, and/or necessary visas. Those without proper citizenship documentation may be denied conveyance by airlines or local partners. U.S. government regulations related to passport requirements are subject to change. Therefore, we strongly encourage U.S. Guests of all ages to have a valid U.S. passport for all trips. Please visit the U.S. Department of State website at https://travel.state.gov or call the U.S. National Passport Information Center at 877-4USA-PPT for the most current requirements. All non-U.S. Guests must have proper documentation to enter the country of travel. More information regarding what is needed to travel can be found on your embassy’s website for the country of travel. 

 

All travel documents are the responsibility of the passenger. A valid passport with at least 6 months validity after the date of travel is required. You are responsible for checking with the appropriate consulates and respective authorities as visas and/or vaccinations may be required. Note that our agents cannot be expected to know all documentation requirements for your trip. No refunds will be entertained for passengers who cannot embark on an aircraft due to
incomplete documentation such as lack of passports or visas or affidavits for minors traveling alone or with only one parent. Keep in mind that entry requirements may vary for US-Citizens and Non US-Citizens. Airport departure and entry fees/taxes are not always included in the airline ticket. This may be required to be paid at your visiting destinations.

If you would like to receive additional information or request accommodations for Travelers with disabilities, please discuss your needs with the Travel Agent before booking. Any accommodations made after booking may result in added fees or schedule changes. We will work to accommodate all travelers, however certain tours, excursions, theme parks, hotels, restaurants, and any other similar activity or experience may not be able to accommodate all travelers. 

TFTW takes the privacy of its customers very seriously. Your use of our Services is subject to our Privacy Policy. Please read the Privacy Policy for information on how your personal information and other information about you will be handled. By accepting these Terms and Conditions you are also accepting the terms of the Privacy Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference for all applicable purposes. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use the Services.

We cannot accept any responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in schedules or other causes such as strikes. All such losses will be the responsibility of the passenger. The right is reserved to make minor adjustments in the itinerary. The right is reserved to cancel any tour prior to departure, in which case a full refund will constitute a full settlement of all liability. Toursfortheworld.com not responsible for any lost or damaged luggage before, during or after the tour program. The right is reserved to decline, to accept, or retain any passenger as a member of the tour program. The issuance of vouchers or tickets shall be deemed to be consent to the above conditions. The airline concerned is not to be held liable for any act, omission, or event during the time passenger are not on board their craft. The services of any IATA or ARC carrier may be used in conjunction with these tours. The passenger’s tickets when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and the purchaser and/or passenger. All rates published in any venue are based on exchange rates and tariffs and are subject to change. All taxes, gratuities and porterage charges are subject to deletions, additions or changes without notice. These items are not covered under the control of Toursfortheworld.com, since changes in Government regulations and labor agreements cannot always be anticipated in advance. Toursfortheworld.com is not responsible for any changes initiated by the passenger after departure.
