The Three Cities of Panama tour

Today we will go to the Historic Monumental Complex of Panama Viejo to learn about its exciting history that began with its founding in 1519 and became famous for being the transit route between the Atlantic and Pacific, as well as the center of expeditions to North, Central and South America, until its outcome after the attack of the famous English privateer Henry Morgan.  We will tour the museum and walk among its outdoor monuments.  For those who like, there is the challenge of climbing the 15 meters of the emblematic Cathedral Tower, which in its time served as a lookout point and from which today we enjoy an impressive view of the city.

Next, we will leap into the present and future touring the Modern City and the Cinta Costera, and then enter the Casco Antiguo, a city of colonial origin dating back to 1673 and still more alive and thriving than ever.  Beautiful civil monuments and churches of colonial, baroque, and neoclassical architecture merge with enthusiastic local passers-by and visitors who enjoy the restaurants at the and visitors enjoying open-air restaurants, bars, hotels, handicraft stores, and live music (in the evenings), all surrounded by the waters of the Pacific.

Continuing our tour, we will move on to the Amador Causeway Islands, a landfill that connects four islands in the Bay of Panama and makes us feel like we are inside the sea.   The all-in-one view will allow you to see the modern city, Casco Antiguo, and the bridge of Las Americas from a single point at the same time. Take some free time to enjoy the sea breeze, and drink some refreshments in one of its many restaurants.

City Tour and the Great Canal Work

This tour starts in Panama City, a place of contrasts. The tour includes the Modern City, Casco Antiguo, and Calzada de Amador and takes you to the Canal Visitor's Center. You will do panoramic tours and short walks in the visited sites.

On the way to the Miraflores Visitors Center at The Panama Canal, you will be told the history and operational functioning of this moving wonder.  Once there, you will be able to feel part of the operation of the Canal from the observation decks.

Continuing our tour, we will take a panoramic view of the Amador Causeway Islands, a landfill that connects four islands in the Bay of Panama and makes you feel like you are inside the sea.   The all-in-one view will allow you to see the modern city, Casco Antiguo, Las Americas Bridge, Taboga Island, and the ships entering and leaving the Panama Canal from a single point and at the same time.

**At the end of the tour, you will have the option of being dropped off at your hotel or a shopping mall in the city and you will return to your hotel on your own.
