Transfer to the airport to take your flight to the amazing, awe-inspiring Iguazu Falls, located on the border of Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay. *Proposed flight is not included, to be booked by agent | AR 2720 AEP-IGR Departure: 9:20 A.M. / Arrival: 11:05 A.M. Located on the west end of the Paraná River, the Iguazú Park is a huge tropical rainforest which has been declared a World Heritage Site. Countless flora and fauna species live in it. We will take an elevator down to the base of the waterfalls and stop right above the river level. From a 1,000-meter footbridge, we will be able to admire the majestic Iguazú Falls or go up an elevator to the Salto Floreano viewpoint. The Falls are one of nature’s most impressive achievements. The locals call them “Big Waters,“ but you’ll call them simply unforgettable as you explore the Brazilian side of Iguazu. Comprising a spectacular display of 250 giant cascades twice the height of Niagara Falls, Iguazu Falls plunges over hard granite to a gorge 260 feet below. Nature’s incredible power is revealed in the thunderous roar of crashing water, and in the magic of the rainbow-colored mist that rises from the cliffs. This is a chance to see a Wonder of the World first-hand.

Breakfast at your hotel. Today, visit the Argentinian side of Iguazu Falls. Iguazú National Park a total of 55,500 hectares— bears the name of the river serving as the northern border, which means “great waters“ in the guaraní language. Surrounded by the lush subtropical rainforest, we will find the majestic Iguazú Waterfalls. Its water volume and more than 275 falls places it among the most important and spectacular waterfalls in the world. On different footbridges, we will visit the heart of the waterfalls, appreciating them from different angles. We will visit the lower circuit, and feel part of nature, refreshing ourselves with waterfall drizzle. On the upper circuit, we will stop at various viewpoints, and then reach the balcony at Garganta del Diablo (Devil“s Throat). No doubt, this is the most amazing of all falls: waterfalls from 80 meters. Note: Wear comfortable shoes and since there’s a good chance the mist from the falls will settle on your clothing and make it damp, so be sure to bring extra clothes and a lightweight jacket.

Day at your leisure. We suggest (not included) the Tropical Islands Tour. This all-day tour cruises the bay in safe and comfortable sailboats. Tropical fruits are freely served on board, as well as typical Brazil’s drink, the Caipirinha. Drinks are not included. The boat stops for those who want to swim in the crystal clear waters of the bay, where it is possible to see the bottom. After this stop, we will head to the Island where a buffet-style lunch will be served with a varied selection of dishes, mainly seafood and barbecue. The stay on the island takes approximately 3 hours, enough for swimming in the ocean or playing the available sports. In the evening return to your hotel. We also suggest a full day to Buzios a tranquil beach with gorges views; it is two hours away from Rio de Janeiro along a nice scenery road.
In the evening we recommend enjoying the carnival with the energetic dances and colorful clothes at the Plataforma show.
