At 9 AM, embark on a visit to Robben Island. The boat cruise departing from the Waterfront spans approximately 50 minutes, leading to a guided tour of the prison and the island itself. Designated as a National Heritage Site, Robben Island held significant figures like Nelson Mandela, Walter Sisulu, and Govan Mbeki for several years. Notably, visitors will explore Nelson Mandela's former cell and tour the island, which also includes a glimpse of a penguin colony along the way.
Lunch is on your own - not Included.
The city center orientation tour encompasses a drive past prominent landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament, The Castle (South Africa's oldest building), and the historic Malay Quarter, also referred to as the Bo-Kaap. Additionally, the tour includes a stroll through the Company Gardens.
Explore these significant sites during your visit:
The Slave Lodge, a historic structure among Cape Town's oldest buildings, is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.
St. George's Cathedral, open Monday to Saturday, except for Sundays due to the scheduled service.
Next, you will visit Table Mountain. This excursion usually takes about 2 hours.
Board the Table Mountain Cable Car to ascend Table Mountain, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city, the Atlantic Ocean, and Robben Island, situated approximately 7 miles offshore. The Table Mountain range boasts around 1,400 species of flowers and is also inhabited by the rock hyrax, a small furry creature frequently spotted on the rocks, enjoying the sunlight.

Drive along the Atlantic Coastline, passing Sea Point, Clifton, and Camps Bay, reaching Hout Bay—a charming fishing village dominated by Chapman’s Peak Pass. Hout Bay, renowned for its scenic beauty, holds a significant place on the Cape Peninsula, attracting visitors from around the world. Commence your journey with a boat cruise from Hout Bay to Seal Island, offering an opportunity to witness thousands of Cape Fur Seals basking on the rocks or playing in the cold Atlantic Ocean.
Return to the harbor and browse the local craft market.
Continue via the False Bay coastline to Simon’s Town, which is home to the South African Navy. It is located on the shores of False Bay, on the eastern side of the Cape Peninsula. For more than two centuries it has been an important naval base and harbor (first for the Royal Navy and now the South African Navy).
The beautiful Boulders Beach is one of Cape Town’s most visited beaches and the only place in the world where you get close to African Penguins.
Lunch at leisure - not included.
Continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. The area has been declared a National World Heritage Site and abounds with buck, baboons, and Cape Zebra, as well as over 50 species of birds.
Rugged rocks and sheer cliffs towering more than 200 meters above the sea cut into the ocean but that is not its sole allure; many visitors are drawn to the area because of its rich maritime history. Initially named the ‘Cape of Storms’ by Bartolomeu Dias in 1488, this point commanded respect from sailors due to dense fog, fierce storms, and treacherous rocks, resulting in numerous shipwrecks along the coastline over centuries.
Visit the lighthouse first completed in 1859; it still stands at 249 meters above sea level and offers a magnificent view.
At the end of the afternoon, we will return to Cape Town.
Enjoy an African dinner experience at a local restaurant, such as GOLD restaurant or a similar venue. African food is traditionally shared and enjoyed with family and friends. The 14-dish tasting menu is designed to be savored in a shared style. Throughout the traditional African meal, you will learn about the country of origin, cooking techniques, and spicing in each dish. (All meat, poultry, and fish dishes come with vegetarian or vegan substitutes).
As an optional group activity (not included - please enquire for price), consider a drumming session at Gold Restaurant. Have some fun and book the pre-dinner interactive djembe drumming sessions that start at 6:30 PM.
Later in the evening, you’ll return to the hotel.

Following breakfast at the hotel, you will head out for the day to visit Stellenbosch. The Stellenbosch Wine Route was the first wine route to have been developed 40 years ago. The town is currently surrounded by +/- 100,000 hectares of vineyards. The wines of the Cape have a worldwide reputation for quality.
Explore Seven Sisters Vineyard (subject to availability), an establishment linked to the seven Brutus sisters of Paternoster. Originating from a small coastal fishing village, the sisters, alongside their younger brother, departed from their serene hometown at a young age due to family eviction. Despite their longing, they couldn't return due to unfavorable circumstances prevailing at the time.
Proceed to the town of Stellenbosch, where free time allows for shopping. Enjoy leisurely lunch (not included) before heading to Franschhoek. Settled by the French Huguenots in 1689, this charming valley, dubbed the Valley of the Vignerons, boasts exquisite wines and scenic landscapes. Explore this picturesque village with time for shopping.
