Itinerary
One of our representatives will be at the international airport waiting for you to meet and land transfer to San José.
| Overnight in San Jose
Breakfast at the hotel. Regular transfer to Arenal. The Arenal Volcano tour starts with a drive to the active Western side of the volcano. Once there you will embark on a hike on the Toucans Trail which traverses the rainforest and crosses over a large lava flow from 1992. It is possible to observe a vast variety of plants, wildlife, and magnificent lava rock formations. Once on top of the lava flow, you will have a beautiful view of Lake Arenal. The hike ends at a viewing area where weather permitting, you will be able to see red hot lava rolling down the side of the volcano (3 pm tour only). During the tour, our experienced guides will provide interesting and educational information regarding the history of the majestic mountain and the Arenal Volcano National Park. The tour concludes with a relaxing stop at the mineral hot spring. Included: Bilingual naturalist guide, transportation in an A/C bus, park entrance fee, beverages, and dinner.

Breakfast at the hotel. The fastest and best way to Monteverde by far. A bus will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Lake Arenal where a covered boat will be waiting to take you across the lake to Rio Chiquito. A 1 ½ hour scenic jeep ride will take you from here to Monteverde, culminating this transfer of approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Breakfast at the hotel. Regular transfer to Manuel Antonio. It is a perfect destination for those who wish to relax in a spectacular natural environment.

Breakfast at the Hotel. Transportation provided by the tour operator will pick you up at your hotel from where you will start your ride to Manuel Antonio National Park. This national park is one of the most famous in our country due to its wide variety of flora and fauna specimens. The park itself boasts 3 different trails that vary in grade from flat to very steep. On this Manuel Antonio tour, you will be accompanied by a nature guide who is knowledgeable about everything you will see. The trail you will take is flat and picturesque and loops through the park making your course approximately 2 miles long. Throughout the hike your guide will stop and explain the different nature specimens that can be observed, you can take photographs or just admire the view. One of the highlights of this Manuel Antonio tour is that the park is home to 3 of the 4 existing monkey species in Costa Rica. Halfway through the hike, you will make a leisure stop at the third beach located within the national park. You will have approximately 20 minutes to rest on the beach or play among the waves if you so choose. Throughout the hike, you will be able to observe sloths, birds, and reptiles as well as admire orchids, butterflies, and tropical trees. The guides that accompany you on this Manuel Antonio Trip are equipped with Pentax and Suvaroski telescopes that you can use to observe wildlife and take pictures with a unique perspective. Upon finishing the tour, you will be provided with transportation back to your hotel. The park is closed on Mondays. Tour Includes Transportation, bilingual guides, park entrance fees, and snacks.

Enjoy the final breakfast of your trip at your hotel. At the appropriate time, you will be transferred from your hotel to Juan Santamaría International Airport to take your departing flight home.
