Full Bangkok City & Temples Include the Grand Palace
This tour includes three of the most unusual Buddhist temples in Bangkok: Wat Trimitr with its invaluable Golden Buddha (5 ½ tons of solid gold) – Wat Po, the most extensive temple in Bangkok, with its colossal Reclining Buddha and the Chedis of the Kings. The Grand Palace is one of the most beautiful samples of an ancient Siamese court. It used to be the residence of the Kings of Thailand. Here you will see palaces that were used for different occasions: the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House, and the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple. Return to the hotel after the program. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Lunch at a local restaurant
This long adventure takes us to the waters of the former Bangkok capital Thonburi which in 1972 merged into Bangkok. Situated on the western side of the Chao Phraya River, these waterways remain very much intact since development on this side of the river is much slower and has ensured the capital has retained its title ‘Venice of the East.’ Here we will glide through the klongs in traditional long-tail wooden boats and soak up scenic life along the capital’s waterways. On the way we stop at the National Museum of Royal Barges which is home to elaborate royal vessels used in state processions. We then head back along the Chao Phraya to visit the magnificent Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn.

Half-day Morning Damnoen Saduak Floating Market
The real floating market is the one at Damnoen Saduak, around 110 kilometers west of Bangkok. A trip to this Thai phenomenon is like traveling back to the ancient times of the Siam Kingdom, where colorful-clad merchants paddle along the narrow canals. The Floating Market is an ideal place for tourists to see the old-style and traditional way of selling and buying fruits, vegetables, and other things from small boats. Tourists will also be able to see traditional Thai houses and the way locals use boats in their everyday lives. During your visit, there will be lots of activity and bargaining is part of the fun of the sale. The market’s popularity among visitors has grown over the years and outside the traditional means of selling and trading food and drinks, souvenir shops around the market are home to some of the best local handicrafts one can buy. The tour includes a visit to the rural Maeklong Railway Market or Talad Rom Hoop (closing umbrella market).
After the program, you’ll be transferred back to Bangko. The remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure.

Half Day City & Temples incl. Doi Suthep
The northern city of Chiang Mai is renowned for its abundant historic and ornate religious shrines and this inspirational tour reveals some of the most famed temples. Our cultural adventure starts at Wat Chiang Man, the oldest of the city’s 300 temples. It was built in 1296 by King Mengrai of the Lanna Kingdom when he decided to make Chiang Mai the capital of his realm. This structure is famous for the Lanna-style chedi supported by rows of elephant-shaped buttresses. We then head to Wat Chedi Luang, the ‘temple of the great stupa’ which dominates the locality; Wat Phra Singh, one of the finest examples of classic Lanna architecture in Northern Thailand; and Wat Sri Suphan, also known as the ‘silver temple’. The silversmiths in the locality decorated the ordination hall with silver, nickel, and aluminum panels and the effect is like a giant jewelry box, particularly at night when floodlights illuminate the temple.
We'll then visit the lively Warorot Market, a haven of retail activity where virtually every product can be bought. This concludes this excellent tour.
The remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure.

Shared Full Day Early Bird Phi Phi Island by Speedboat
Koh Phi Phi shot to fame thanks to Leonardo DiCaprio’s film The Beach. Consisting of Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Ley, these dual spectacular limestone rocky islands are best enjoyed first thing in the morning before the day-tripper crowds arrive. Starting early, we board a speedboat to explore this world-famous destination. We visited Pileh Lagoon which is a spectacular emerald green lagoon surrounded by high limestone cliffs – qualities which have earned it the reputation as one of the world’s most gorgeous natural swimming pools. Koh Phi Phi is home to some of the nicest secluded bays for us to relax, swim, or snorkel in the crystal-clear water.
